The patint was admitted with severe abdominal pain and persistnt vomiting; initial labs showed eleveated white blood cell count and signs of dehyration. Immediate IV fluids, analgesics, and antiemetics were started, and a CT scan was ordred to rule out appendicitis or bowel obstruction.
